The Zenestrian Requiem: a funeral dirge for those brave enough to give their lives in service to the Coregency of Zenestria. This solemn hymn imparts a message to those who hear it: that one day, this people will find solace and no longer fear the threat of impermanence. A hopeful motif, but with it comes another meaning…
For a Zenestrian, the greatest dishonor is to die.

Over centuries, the people of Zenestria have grown in size and strength through the efforts of the Reconnaissance Corps. These intrepid explorers venture into the unknown regions of Millennia to find resources and habitable lands. Many expeditions are stymied by ferocious creatures and mysterious phenomena, but nevertheless, the work must continue. Through the exploits of the corps, various data about Millennia’s enviornment are reported to Zenestria’s ruling triumvirate: The Primarchs. These discoveries have led to salient advancements in technology, magic, and agriculture.

This is the story of one Zenestrian—a boy collectively raised by the Reconnaissance Corps. Although lacking in any remarkable skills and possessing a considerably brash demeanor, he yearns to become a great figure in Zenestria’s history. When forces much greater than those of this world pull the threads of providence, what path will he be fated to take?
